Regarding my production of functional pieces, I tend to create series of hand-decorated items. I enjoy incorporating ornaments inspired by personal memories that bring a smile to my face. Designed to withstand daily use, these pieces aim to counteract overconsumption – Dominique Plamondon

About The Artist

Dominique Plamondon

Dominique Plamondon is a ceramic artist based in Quebec City. Growing up, she split her time between the city and the forest. In her twenties, she felt the need to reconnect with what mattered most and adopt a slower pace of life. She decided to pursue a post-secondary diploma in Applied Arts, specializing in ceramics, at Cégep Limoilou in Quebec (2024). Today, she creates both utilitarian and sculptural pieces using traditional methods alongside new technologies.
