Somi attended Graduate School at Don Kook University, studying Ceramic Art and earing her Ph.D. Since 2015, Somi founded and is the Director of Cerabonito, specializing in ceramic jewelry and functional ware. Her works have three technical patents and trademark registrations with one design right. Presently, she is a Member of the Korean Ceramic Accessory Council and Korea Society of Ceramic Art. She is based in the Republic of Korea.
